Dear Opelika Middle School Families,

We aim to inspire a love for learning and to instill a strong sense of curiosity and critical thinking. In addition to our academic focus, we offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities and clubs that cater to diverse interests and talents. Our extracurricular programs are designed to enhance students' skills, promote teamwork, and provide opportunities for personal growth. We encourage all students to explore these opportunities, get involved, and discover new passions! 

At OMS, we also believe relationships are the cornerstone of a successful educational experience. We understand that trust and collaboration between teachers, students, and parents are essential for fostering an environment where every child feels valued and encouraged. The dedicated faculty and staff of OMS believe in empowering students to become active participants in their education and to take responsibility for their actions. Our goal is to cultivate responsible citizens who are prepared to make positive contributions to society. We also recognize that the journey through middle school comes with its challenges. We work collaboratively with students and families to navigate obstacles and celebrate the successes, both big and small, that come along the way.
